Score for me

Started carving one to sell and then there was a strange defect in the briar by the time I worked through it there was not enough material to make it perfectly round so I left it a little rough and finished it for myself it smokes very well it's a shame because t has nice figure I still like it though!

Shave!

I'm very into vintage shaving paraphernalia. I had this old Gillette safety razor laying around with a cracked handle so I took the head and turned a new handle out of this purple wood I found in sinks canyon. Cool!

I'm chucked!

Scored a nice solid vintage chuck and now my lathe is actually useful

Carve is getting around!

Eric in LV got his pipe and sent me this snap of the maiden voyage. Thanks Eric! If you all want to be as half as cool as Eric you're gonna need one of these babies...and a ridiculously cool deraked Harley chop.

Antique Store Scores!

Amy and I went Antiquing and I scored a Medico Crest estate pipe for a really good price. It was really really well used but it still smokes real well. I also scored a vintage Flying Dutchman tin and then! Amy found a Vintage OG Missouri Meerschaum corn cob bowl. So I started making a stem for it. pretty killer finds! Oh I also got a tool box for a steal! Pretty stoked.

New Additions to the Shop

Got a Lathe to get started until I can get to central Utah and get the Vintage one Amy's dad gave me. I'm also re-purpose an old Milwaukee hammer drill it will be doing the double duty of buffer/sanding wheel.

Well Hello there!

Hey guys welcome to Carve! I'm just one guy in the middle of Wyoming seeing what I can and can't do with wood to smoke tobacco out of it. I'm just starting out and wanting to make pipes of all styles and giving the working man an opportunity to own a nice handmade pipe without having to pay the outrageous prices. I'm starting with classic European Briar pipes and Rustic American styled pipes made of various salvaged woods I'm hoping to get into Clay pipes and meerschaum down the road. Let me know if you're interested in anything. Check back often  because I'm digging in deep and turning things out! Thanks for look'n.
