My main goal with Carve is to bring back the dying culture of pipes. It's the oldest form of tobacco use and at some point the social and economical elite claimed pipes for their own. I'm here to take it back and give the art of pipes to the working man. I've been flirting with the Deckhand/ Shophand concept for a little while and finally decided to start working on the protopipe. The point of these pipes it to be of the greatest quality and lowest price point I can possibly offer. not only that but, I smoke pipes all day at work and I wanted a pipe I could keep in my mouth all day long without it getting in the way. Enter the Deckhand its small, light, balanced and a great smoker. Classic shape with an extended stummel and short stem. If you need to put it down and a pipe stand isn't handy then the shophand is the way to go. Its just like the Deckhand but has a flat bottom so it a sitter. the 1# Deckhand went to my good friend Lauren she loves it and it smokes great!
